등대글로벌스쿨 초등과정은 매월 필드트립을 통해 학생들에게 보다 많은 배움과 경험의 기회를 제공하고 있습니다. 특히 11월에는 역사를 주제로 History Hop이 진행되었습니다.
이번 필드트립에서는 한국의 역사에 대해 깊이 있게 배우고자 배재학당 역사박물관과 중명전을 방문하였습니다. 점점 쌀쌀해지는 계절에도 불구하고, 학생들은 한국의 아픈 역사를 배우며 그 속에서도 꿋꿋이 극복해 온 과정을 체험할 수 있었습니다. 특히, 세월이 흘렀음에도 불구하고 여전히 남아있는 역사적 흔적들을 직접 눈으로 확인하며 많은 생각을 할 수 있는 소중한 시간이었습니다.
등대글로벌스쿨은 역사에 대한 올바른 인식과 교육을 통해 기독교적 세계관을 심어주기 위해 지속적으로 노력하고 있습니다. 앞으로도 학생들이 다양한 경험을 통해 더욱 성장할 수 있도록 많은 관심과 응원 부탁드립니다.
LIS Field Trip News
Hello, this is Lighthouse International School!
The elementary program at Lighthouse International School offers students numerous opportunities for learning and experiences through monthly field trips. In particular, November featured a History Hop with a focus on history.
During this field trip, we visited the Paejae Academy History Museum and Joongmyungjeon Hall to gain a deeper understanding of Korean history. Despite the weather becoming increasingly chilly, our students were able to learn about Korea’s painful history and experience the resilient processes through which it has been overcome. It was especially meaningful for them to directly observe historical remnants that have endured over time, allowing for thoughtful reflection.
