2024년 12월 20일, 등대글로벌스쿨 학생들이 파주 지역 소외계층 이웃들을 위한 연탄 나눔 봉사활동을 진행했습니다. 이 행사는 등대글로벌스쿨의 전통적인 학기 말 봉사활동으로, 하나님의 사랑을 실천하고 세상에 빛과 소금의 역할을 다하기 위해 매년 진행되고 있습니다.
가을학기 동안 학생들은 연탄 나눔을 위한 모금 활동에 적극적으로 참여하며, 300만 원의 후원금을 모았습니다. 이 후원금은 연탄 구입에 사용되어, 따뜻한 온기를 필요로 하는 이웃들에게 전달되었습니다. 학생들은 직접 연탄을 나르고 이웃들에게 그리스도의 사랑을 전하며 몸과 마음으로 섬김의 기쁨을 경험했습니다.
이번 봉사활동은 학생들이 하나님의 은혜에 감사하며 배움을 실천하는 귀한 시간이었습니다. 등대글로벌스쿨은 앞으로도 하나님의 온전한 사람을 세우기 위해 교육과 봉사를 이어갈 것입니다. 학생들의 따뜻한 마음과 헌신이 지역 사회에 귀한 빛과 소금이 되었기를 소망합니다.

On December 20, 2024, students of Lighthouse International School participated in a coal briquette-sharing volunteer activity to support underprivileged neighbors in Paju. This meaningful event, a cherished year-end tradition of the school, reflects the mission of practicing God’s love and fulfilling the role of being the light and salt of the earth.
Throughout the fall semester, students wholeheartedly engaged in fundraising efforts for this activity, successfully raising 3 million KRW. The funds were used to purchase coal briquettes, which were personally delivered by the students to neighbors in need. Through this hands-on experience, students not only offered warmth to others but also felt the joy and blessing of serving with their hearts and hands.
This volunteer initiative was a precious opportunity for the students to express gratitude for God’s grace while putting their faith into action. Lighthouse International School remains committed to nurturing individuals who embody God’s love and carry His light into the world through education and service.
