올해로 11회를 맞은 근대역사투어프로젝트는 2023년 12월 21일부터 24일까지, 3박 4일간 서울, 경기, 인천 지역을 중심으로 진행되었습니다. 이번 투어에서는 근대화, 교육, 학교, 선교사, 교회, 선교, 민족운동 등 다양한 주제를 다루며 깊이 있는 학습이 이루어졌습니다. 학생들은 직접 연구하고 토론하며, 역사를 여러 각도에서 이해하고 체험하는 시간을 가졌습니다.
특히, 이번 프로젝트를 통해 학생들은 근대역사와 기독교 역사의 연결점을 배우고, 서로 협력하며 팀워크를 강화하는 체계적인 훈련도 병행했습니다. 이러한 과정은 학생들이 기독교 세계관을 기반으로 역사적 사건과 인물들을 바라보고, 배움과 성찰을 통해 미래를 준비하는 데 큰 밑거름이 되고 있습니다.

Among its hallmark programs, the Modern History Tour Project stands out as an annual event where students delve into modern history and Christian history through research, travel, and immersive experiences during school breaks.
This year marked the 11th Modern History Tour Project, held over four days from December 21 to 24, 2023, across Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon. Students explored diverse themes such as modernization, education, schools, missionaries, churches, missions, and national movements. Through in-depth studies, hands-on experiences, and engaging discussions, they gained a multifaceted understanding of history.
The project allowed students to uncover the connections between modern history and Christian history, fostering a Christian worldview while strengthening their teamwork and collaborative skills. This systematic training equips students to analyze historical events and figures through a faith-based perspective, helping them reflect on the past while preparing for the future.
